AUEEE engineering entrance test is conducted by the Annamalai University for admission in B.E / B.Sc (Agriculture) and B.Sc (Horticulture) programs of the Annamalai University.
Eligibility
Only candidates belonging to the state of Tamil Nadu are eligible. The wards of Central Govt. employees and candidates of other state whose parents/guardians are working in the state of Tamil Nadu can also apply. Candidates must be H.Sc (Academic) pass with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Candidate should be H.Sc (Vocational Stream) pass with Engineering Vocational subjects and one of the related subjects like Mathematics, Physics Candidate should be diploma holder in one of the courses like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical and Computer Science and Engineering Any other equivalent qualification approved by the Annamalai University.
Minimum Marks Eligibility:
- Minimum Marks for Category I and III
- Community (1) - Higher Secondary (Academic) / Higher Secondary(Vocation) / Diploma Holders.
- O.C. - 60% average in related subjects
- B.C. - 55% average in related subjects
- MBC/DNC - 50% average in related subjects

Pattern
The AUEEE test paper consists of 120 objective questions with multiple choice answers. There are four choices and the candidate has to mark the correct option in the OMR sheet provided. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark and each incorrect answer gets a negative marking of -1.
The questions are based on the main subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The question paper is divided into four parts with a total of 40 questions for each subject carrying 40 marks each. AUEEE is based only on the syllabus and Text Books prescribed for the Second year of the Tamil Nadu H.Sc. (Academic) Course.
