The Dr. DY Patil Institute conducts the AIET B.Tech entrance exam for admissions to B.Tech courses at its campus in Mumbai.
Eligibility
- Candidates should have passed their 10+2 or similar examination
- Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) OR Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (PCMB) with English as a compulsory subject at the 10+2 level.
- Candidates must have scored an aggregate of at least 50% in PCB or PCMB Age Limit:
- Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.
Syllabus
The syllabus is similar to the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer Subjects at the 10+2 level
Pattern
- The AIET-B.Tech exam is of two hours duration.
- There is a single question paper in English containing 150 questions. The questions are objective with multiple choice answers. The marks allocation for each subject is as follows: Physics 40; Chemistry 40; Biology 50; Mathematics 10; Computers 10. One mark for each correct answer and no negative marking for incorrect answers.
