Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology NSIT CEE is for candidates seeking admission to First Semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses. The exam is for DELHI Region candidates passing from Schools / Colleges / Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and NSIT.
Eligibility
- The candidate should be at least 17 years of age at the time of application.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 organized by the CBSE Delhi or any other equivalent boards OR they must have passed the Indian School Certificate examination organized by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination.
- Candidates must have a qualification in B.Sc. (Gen) Group A examination or equivalent of the University of Delhi.
- Or the candidates should have a qualification in B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the University of Delhi.
- The candidate should have 60% or above aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to apply for this examination.
Syllabus
The NSIT CEE syllabus of the exam is similar to that of class XI and class XII of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) course.
Pattern
The exam is conducted in a single day and the duration is three hours. There is a single question paper with objective questions and multiple choice answers. There are a total of 180 questions and each are provided with multiple choice answers. The syllabus of the examination is adopted from the academic subjects of class 11th and 12th. The topics covered are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to select the appropriate answer from the multiple choices for each question. Four marks are given for each right answer and each wrong answer will be negatively marked.
